So this kinda has been brewing in the back of my head for a WHILE. The idea FIRST came to me from the tutorial of retial iris. The story of Archane. (I think that was the dude's name) and recently after re-reading Arch iris comic topic on the forums as well as said comic itself. I know this has a COMPLETE possibly NO chance shot of ever becoming a reality but hey that's what these suggestions are for right? Throwing OUR ideas out there to you. So here we go. By the way admins/GMs if this is in the wrong spot move it. If it's stupid delete it all together. I just feel i have to say it or my head will burst y'know?

Idea:

Inside Sahar's Gate

Dungeon "view" : the rift has gotten worse and Sahar's Gate has opened a bit more allowing monsters of more brutal nature to escape. The party's job is to use the rift to slip into Sahar's gate itself and to beat back the evil from inside. Thus lessening the wave of monsters slipping out (This could be like the quest description)

Layout: Basicly one hall way room straight shot. Some monsters leading to like a throne room of sorts. Kill all the monsters. Make it to the end and you find Lord Archane, (Size larger than your character WAY larger, think like both the size increaseing saint and sage buffs combined as well as maybe a 60 % increase card size and looking rather mutated skin coloration here and there power corrupts after all. I'd picture like chains hanging off of him here and there as well. I'm also thinking IF this happens he should be stronger than the player max level. If the max is 85 then he should be like 87-90) Anyway fight starts. Story wise the rift and crack of Sahar's gate is allowing him to move again and he's trying to crack it open more so he may escape. The fight should go something like he should use a few "advanced" and slightly twisted skills that other classes use. And after X ammount of HP % lost he should summon a boss (Kinda simlar to the forgottten versions of the bosses in Vortex) that is iconic to the Iris world and he flies up and out of reach or stands in place and is invicible. He doesn't attack and you can't hit him kinda like a rest period for him.

I was thinking IF this happens the bosses should be like say 15 levels lower than the max. so lvl 70. Have no said "skills" of that boss. They are just a place holder after all and story wise are giving Archane a breather.

I was thinking 4 of these.

1st: After X ammount of HP, Glaceon. After all this is the first real boss players are told to fight.
2nd: After the next ammount of HP: Atheleon: What better than the 2nd boss you are told to fight? Corrupted ancient weapon and all
3rd: After the next point: Gigantes (I know i spelled that wrong it's 5 AM EST when i'm typeing this... blame lack of sleep) I chose this one since it's like a corrupted warrior that was used to destroy Decomus and make the great city fall
4th: next HP point. Paysao. I had a LOT of thought about this i really did... i thought LONG and hard and it seems that this one kept coming back to me. After all this is the boss of the VERY first dungeon you have to go through... it's nostalgic right?

After the fight comes loot. I think loot should be just weapons. Epic weapons with stats higher than what is acheivable via Nereus. Stuff like, And please note i'm just throwing out names, Corrupted King's blade. Corrupted ruler's staff. Come up with snazzy names if you want *shrug* it's 5 AM so yeah can't think THAT great.

So this should be a quest and after the quest maybe return to shilly for a chat. Stuff like "You beat back the powerful force spilling from the rift but you didn't destroy it. It will return but you bought us more time to prepare." yadda yadda. And quest reward be a choice of ONE of three titles. A title that grants Attack and defense that is really good. A title that grants mage stuff. healing and magical attack. And a title fit for rouges and gun users, Evasion and what not (i haven't messed with rouges too much to know what all is good for em)

Now again this is just an idea that i had and figured i'd throw it out. Use it? Great. Don't use it? Fine. opinions are that for a reason. Everyone has their own. Ideas are the same way ^^

    Nice ideas Ecroier, sounds like a good background for a new Vortex type dungeon tbh, but until I can fix all the bugs, exploits and crashes that Vortex causes already I don't really want to create another :P

    Yeah i completely understand Sedy ^^ and vortex or just standard Dungeon either way you go, or in this case, want to go. I just thought y'know through out the game there is various references to Lord Archane (i guess that's what we refer to him as.) and yet no SHOWING of him... i think he kinda needs to show up. and this is all i could honestly come up with ^^; If i had more time to iron things out in my head i could probably expand on this idea and keep feeding you what i come up with off this. should you, y'know want to do this later in the future. I honestly was thinking of this like a normal dungeon instead of something like vortex... but then with the bosses and all there is possiblities. AKA have the bosses randomized. Where though four bosses would be spawned through out the fight, it would be completely random as to WHICH would show up, could go through every dungeon boss and world boss >.> but yeah again these are just ideas. suggestions. Not like it's gonna be anything soon anyway XD
